Rudelle Fay Hall A Multi-media Artist |
Rudelle, is a self-taught artist, and signs all of her work with her first name only. She didn't even have art offered as a subject in High School. Her first love was oil painting, and then photography. Over 30 years ago she started doing Polaroid Manipulation, which she then termed, "Photo Etching". All of her photo etchings were done on location invarious parts of the world. She uses them to create new works of art by enlarging and enhancing them by adding to, and/or painting out areas with acrylic paint, and medium. The Ninteen Eighties brought a new medium, and art tool for Rudelle. She discovered the computer paint program, and soon bought other photo manipulating programs with which to further her ability for creativity. She enjoys manipulating digital photos, which she prints out on professional watercolor paper using archival pigment ink, and then enhancing them using acrylic paint and medium, as well as creating abstract works from scratch. Rudelle teaches drawing at the Monart School of The Arts in Temecula California. She has produced a DVD where she teaches how to copy, or create your own original Animated Art Cels, and how to frame them to look like professional cels. She was the President of the Temecula Valley Art League from 2004 to 2006, and a finalist with two works of art in the "Call to Arts! International Art Expo" in Pasadena, California February 2004, and was juried into the first Southern California "All's Fair In Art" prestigious juried show at the Cultural Art Center in Fallbrook, California March 4 - 25, 2007. She designed and painted two banners for the yearly Escondido, "Grape Day" celebration, where they will be displayed every year on Grape Day. |
